Louise Smit and the girls

Our 3rd gallery visit was to Galerie Louise Smit. Here we saw an exhibition curated by an ex (Rietveld) classmate of mine, Iris Eichenberg who now teaches at Cranbrook Academy in the US. The show was called Our House and each participant (former students of Iris) was allocated an area of the house with which to work.

The gallery has been in existence for quite a few years and Louise talked to us about some of changes in jewellery and attitudes she has seen. At the end of her talk the girls joined Louise for a kodak moment.

And then we had to tear Victoria away from her new love.....
