A day of contrasts

Today was a day of both fun things to do and also reflection. I started the day by going to the Anne Frank house museum. For me, it was a very touching monument to both her and to the victims of the Holocaust.
In direct contrast to this, I went shopping for frivolous things like clothes from H&M and Hema and new shoes too! Last evening in Amsterdam so doing the packing up for 7.20am start tomorrow. Goodbye Amsterdam, hello Munich.
